INTRODUCTION

Northern Kuala Lumpur International College, referred to as NKLIC (formerly known as Pintar College), was established in 2015 by Dr Jimmy Lim Siau Shiong, the Malaysia National Outstanding Educator. NKLIC founded in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, offers courses including Accounting, Management, Marketing, Early Childhood Education, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Real Estate Management.

The history of NKLIC can be traced back to the international professional qualifications offered by Pintar College, such as the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) in 2002. At the beginning of its establishment, the purpose was to provide Malaysians with the most competitive international qualification certificates.

Due to the goal of pursuing high-quality education for many years, the students of NKLIC have won the best results of LCCI among students from more than 200 countries around the world. At the same time, NKLIC has been appointed as the “ACCA Gold Status Learning Partner” in offering the best education to the public.

Invited by the Ministry of Education of thirteen states and three federal territories in Malaysia, NKLIC is also responsible for the improvement of the “teaching ability, comprehensive quality and level” of all secondary school teachers in Malaysia. NKLIC has worked with the Ministry and Education Offices with many initiatives to realise the national teachers’ improvement in Malaysia quickly.

In 2021, the high school accounting, business and economics exercise books compiled by NKLIC broke the Malaysian publication record. They entered two “Malaysian Book of Records” founded by former Malaysian Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir.

In order to promote the in-depth cooperation between Malaysian and international education, NKLIC has obtained the KDN approval from the Ministry of Home Affairs of Malaysia for recruiting international students from all countries and at the same time launching the “international exchange student” program overseas.

In 2022, Pintar College officially changed its name to “Kuala Lumpur International College, NKLIC”. All courses offered by the North Kuala Lumpur International College are approved by the Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA).
